Oh man I thought about the same thing. Poor moonlight butterfly.. They must have been so misunderstood and stereotyped. The butterfly fairy just genuinely wanted some sweets amd nectars .. I hate this kind of plots where light automatically means good and noble, dark automatically means bad and evil. Come on.....
Right? Like being good is something linear to them and sometimes, their morals are also just as questionable but they somehow justify it by being righteous wtf
I am so fucking torn on how to feel about this. I hate the fact that the seem to put all importance to the flowerbed and the flower itself. It makes Felix’s and the others seem so superficial towards their feelings for the FL. I get an icky feeling whenever they freesia this freesia that. Fuck me sideways, I'm so confused because I still read it and kind of like it.
BUT I KIND OF PITY THE MOONLIGHT BUTTERFLY THOUGHHH SHE SEEMED LIKE SHE JUST WANTED A SWEET TREAT. AND THE FACT THAT FL SUDDENLY BECOMES THE LIGHT GODDESS OR WHATNOT SENDS ME SPIRALING MORE I TO CONFUSION. QHAT ABOUTHER IDENTITY AS A DARK ATTRIBUTE MAGE NOWWW?
