after mc returns to the past, he does everything he can to prevent the accident that causes yihan to become crippled while keeping everything a secret from him (the accident was that mc’s stalker had run over them both and yihan used his body to protect mc)
jinwoon helps him deal with his stalker, he confesses to mc, mc gets swayed by him but convinced himself he needs to focus on yihan because of his guilt
yihan grows really suspicious of mc and his cousin’s relationship and starts acting incredibly possessive. yihan’s parents are pushing his marriage and he keeps this a secret from mc
mc ultimately, while being able to delay it, wasnt able to stop the accident. but when it happens, he pushes yihan out of the way while jinwoon pushes him out of the way, so the one who got hurt in it was jinwoon instead
mc realizes that jinwoon had also come back to the past with him (he remembers that jinwoon had tried to save him from the car accident that caused his regression), and at the hospital he overhears yihan and jinwoon fighting about mc and yihan’s marriage.
it’s then revealed than yihan’s marriage had been decided on when they started college, when in the first life yihan had lied to mc and told him the marriage was forced on him because of the accident. mc feels betrayed and runs off, where he finally realizes he had feelings for jinwoon all along and had only been with yihan for 10 yrs because of his guilt
when he tried to express his feelings jinwoon doesnt believe him at first and thinks its because he thinks the accident was his fault, just like with yihan. but their misunderstanding is resolved, mc ends things with yihan, and just as theyre able to confess to one another, there’s a REALLY SUDDEN time skip back to 10 years in the future after the accident that caused their time regression, except it’s the timeline where jinwoon and mc ended up together, happily married, and mc has lost all memory since their confession 10 years ago (he basically only remembers the events of the story) while jinwoon remembers everything.
the side stories are omegaverse with 2 kids.

its also revealed that the reason for the time regression is bc mc’s mother was a shaman who saw that her son’s life would be filled with sadness so she sacrificed herself to give him another chance at life

jinwoon (black hair) id say he’s slightly better than yihan who’d been lying to mc their whole relationship but the ending is not very satisfying because they time-skip the 10 whole years of their relationship the second they get together and mc doesn’t even remember any of that time lmao..

Appreciate all your spoilers, I read the whole thing lmao because I didn’t want to read since I heard MC sleeps with everyone(?) and is indecisive (which I hate the most), and apparently the MC blushed at everyone, but could’ve been embarrassment?

OK so basically.. (its been a bit since i read it so my memory isnt perfect but to my recollection) the “closet incident” is that in college jinwoon had been harboring feelings for mc, mc knew about them because he was really obvious but mc chose to ignore it since jinwoon was too much of a coward to do anything about it anyway. the day jinwoon came over to come clean to mc about everything, his feelings & yihan’s arranged marriage, yihan shows up at mc’s house unexpectedly. mc freaks out bc yihan is really possessive and would think mc is cheating on him, so he shoves jinwoon into the closet. yihan comes in, suspicious of mc’s behavior and kind of knows what the situation is, and mc to distract him starts kissing him and they have sex right then and there with jinwoon still in the closet seeing the whole thing silently crying (jinwoon and yihan are related also)
this basically just irreparably causes a rift in their relationship, jinwoon never tells mc about yihan’s marriage to begin with, and is the root of the reason jinwoon blackmails mc into having sex with him in the first life. it also causes mc a lot of guilt in their interactions because both of them know mc knew about jinwoon’s feelings. i genuinely cannot for the life of me explain why mc decided to do it AGAIN when he returns to the past it pmo so bad
though in the second life since jinwoon also has his original memories he reacts differently than in the first life, mc didn’t know that and just decided to create the same scenario .. like yeah yihan’s possessive but surely there would be another way to avoid this

(whether you want to call it trauma or not bc thats debatable, it does cause lasting scars for both of them)
