I thought I was the only one who noticed how the manhwa mocks Carcel, turns him into a bad joke and repeatedly rehash his past. To be quite frank, this is why many of the novel readers already dropped this manhwa. In the novel, there are 600+ chapters. How much of it is spent on Carcel’s past? Less than 1%. Instead, we are told a lot more about Ines’s past with her men if we’re talking about the parts that are not OTP. The great irony is, Carcel’s past doesn’t create drama in this story. It’s Ines’s past that literally creates all sorts of drama after marriage. Not a single woman from Carcel’s past show up after marriage. None whatsoever. Instead, we get Carcel’s life even threatened twice because of one of the men from Ines’s past and Ines dying because of a pendant carelessly left by another man from Ines’s past. The funny thing is, it won’t even stop there as those two in one way or another, create even more havoc in the future that Carcel has to clean up.

You always make it sound like ines asked for oscar to be a mothefucking bitch and for the idiotic emiliano to give away the pendant. She was traumatised and on survival mode and FYI Carcel is always Oscar's cousin and his inferiority complex would have never died.

yasss!!! like the only reason carcel cheated was bc he RECEIVED NO LETTERS from ines prior to when he left for the navy at such an early age. like this is a teen we're talking about and teenagers make stupid mistakes!!!! and im pretty sure he cheated in retaliation of ines bc she literally left him out to dry. like this was a kid who was barely figuring out his feelings towards the whole thing and fled to the navy to evade marriage bc thats such a huge commitment for just a kid!!!! like ines isn't perfect and i hate to say this but is the whole reason he "cheated" bc this was just his way of retaliating against her, to see her hurt or just anything out of her. like ines has always had control over what their relationship is and what it entails. like she literally did not gaf he was with other women bc it BENEFITTED her!!! like she only start gaf when realized "oh fuck. i love this man." and literally began to fume whenever she saw a woman trying to get into carcel's pants. like.... neither are perfect and i really hate the whole "ines is a virgin and carcel is a whore" argument bc that's the least anyone should be worrying in this story imo

Someone people sharing an opinion is not a war at all , it's the ones who feel incapable of seeing that other people can and should have a different understanding of the manhwa than them us the issue and it's not even something people should be loosing it over
There's a litteral war on the comments and its partly the manhwa's fault.
While reading the manhwa we remember how great Carcel is. He is litterally a gem and all and all and then the manhwa is on a hiatus for months (good and needed for the artists) and it makes ppl remember that first fucking god awful pannel where Carcel is caught tongue sucking another woman.
So the war is about the cheating and those who defend him because circumstances
And i will be honest the hiatus is so long and bc i love this story i also feel bitter about carcel's past because GUESS WHAT PEOPLE some humans are very sensible to cheating.
ALSO. THIS MANHWA KEEPS REMINDING PEOPLE about Carcel's past before marrying Ines. This is a problem. Those chibis are cute but what are they ALL about? The rumors and past of Carcel. About how he was a 'dirty lock amongst others' but 'not as dirty as Ines expected'.
The only thing that makes the past bearable is how much Ines manipulated and hurt Carcel to make him cheat by ignoring him for years and that Carcel absolutely hates himself and that at least Ines' life there wasn’t only Carcel so its not manwhore× virgin but more. (Emiliano, Oscar can die (AND I DONT CARE ABOUT EMILIANO I DONT SHIP HIM WITH INES. Carcel or nothing))
There is a war of 5+ pages and my point is both sides are right and Carcel and Ines' toxic past becomes too personnal for some.
Carcel cheated its a fact but it is annoying because in Carcel's FOUR lives THIS ONE, THE ONE WE'RE READING, is the ONLY one in which it wasn’t Ines or nothing.
Broken ring has complicated and yk what Id say the most human reactions (especially Ines) and I also AGREE that the cheating part is taking too much comments on the thread but again when the manhwa comes back at last and we'll see how Carcel adores Ines like no man adores his wife we'll be able to move on.
We also could have if the manhwa didn’t remind Carcel's ugliest side (only, ugly side) all the fucking time.
