I also thought it was to early to be Zeus, so I was thinking more in the direction of Mesopotamia/Byzantine gods.
Kinda still wish that was the case I think that would make it more interesting.
.....but Zeus wanting to sleep with everyone around and graping people is very on brand
Him being Zeus was in the back of my head for a while but it just didn't feel right, why would he be wasting his time with this also it's kind of too obvious. But then I remember this takes place probably before he becomes the ruler of the pantheon... Which is why he's talking Abt his siblings suffering
