I doubt remilia would want other to know the truth about “emi” since thats the only thing she want to belong to herself, her beloved sanctuary
The romance part really did frustrates me the most too. Glad I found someone who shared the same feeling. I had thought that it would've been much more better if they ALSO showed her true self instead of "Emi's mask" because he(Angel/Demon King) fell inlove with Remillias "Emi's mask" not her scheming and cunning self. The comment at the top also has a point because that would most likely be her Remillia's thoughts but instead of showing Emi, why don't they just show like a leak of her true self!? From what I read so far, Remillia always showed what "Emi would do" "What Emi would say" so at this point I think I could say that she really hasn't shown her true self. Some might say "she showed her true emotions in some scenario/cases-" YES YOU ARE RIGHT BECAUSE IT INVOLVES EMI? HAS SHE EVER NOT THOUGHT OF ANGEL IN A LOVABLE MANNER WITHOUT THINKING OF EMI FIRST???(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
But the others also has a point that a romance is not only about someone falling inlove- it's about relationships yes yes yes it's true she love Emi as a family and that is a relatioship but ROMANCE IS ROMANCE. IT IS A LOVE STORY. AT THIS POINT I DON'T KNOW WHO IM FIGHTING BUT ATLEAST I'M PROVING MY POINT. ┗( T﹏T )┛

honestly, this manga is great. but i feel like it could have become so much more if the pace was a bit slower and they really took their time with each character. their romance really had so much potential, for ex. i would have loved it if the demon king loved her unconditionally, like knowing both emi and both the og her and still loving her. grahh im a bit frustrated that this was so short because i actually feel like this really had the biggest potential to be one of the best mangas ever, but its still a fantastic read.
