I fully agree with you that tiktokers and other content creators online are completely undermining rape when they use "grape" or the grape emoji. What started as a way for commenters to avoid being censored when talking about extremely serious sexual crimes in the real world has just become a silly, quirky shorthand for people who are too chicken to say rape. Unfortunately it is necessary for a lot of people to censor "bad words" like rape and suicide because changing the words altogether just to be cheeky is just lame as fuck. "Ohhhhh he got graped" "omg he committed sewer slide" Like, Bitch I'm gonna kill you.
