I think is probably more about his end plot probably because the eternal love means something more to him
Usually in reincarnation stories it's an earnest/desperate wish of someone to save the mc that makes them reincarnate (or it's their own wish like "the villainess reverse's the hourglass)
I guessed it's him this time because of the connection between the system and his culture and the mirror. Since he is a mage/sorcerer he could have done it imo. It's interesting eitherway. I like him, it's a pity that the ml is probably the prince. (Tho I love him too)(≧∀≦)
