You say ‘a hit dog will holler’ like it’s some mic drop, but you barked first and loudest. If your comment wasn’t about us, you wouldn’t be here explaining it paragraph by paragraph. You can criticize all you want—it’s a free comment section, just like it’s free for us to call out passive-aggressive shade when we see it. Don’t act like you’re above it all while writing essays about people you claim you’re not even talking to. Hope that helps.

I get that you’re trying to be fair, and I respect that—but let’s be real, replying directly to your comment and using language that clearly fits what we were saying doesn’t exactly read as ‘just speaking generally.’ Maybe they didn’t mean to target us specifically, but it definitely came across that way. Clarifying after the fact doesn’t change how it landed.

bow you’re acting like that was a mic drop but whatever you say to make you feel better abt yourself. why can’t i explain it paragraph by paragraph when you guys were the ones who took it wrong first? i didn’t even read your replies to the original comment when i wrote my first one, stop thinking i was calling you guys out specifically. have you thought about why it sounds like shade? and when did i act like im above you all? i’m tryna clear my original intention while you’re now pushing random thoughts onto me. you’re acting like the fact that i write a lot is evidence that i’m somehow implying im above you all, when i simply just like to write a lot to get my point out throughly. anyway, i’d rather be someone who has unconditional sympathy than someone who has unconditional hate.

nah they want to silence me /hj was what i said even unjustified tho? they’re still mad even when i said it wasnt directly towards them… and is it not true that a lot of webtoon readers are extremely misogynistic? is it also not true that there are a lot of readers of toawf who hate ahri? can people stop acting like i’m not allowed to give grace to a fictional woman…

oh i thought u were addressing me but you ended up still labeling again by saying " a hit dog will holler"
I dont care if its a proverb, just because youre online and cant see who youre talking to, doesnt mean you should use those types of proverbs.
And i didnt see your other comment, there was nothing prior to yours except mine. relative can imply someone that youre related to which wouldnt be the correct term. family can imply both blood or relations.
and yes mincheol did manipulate her. doesnt mean i should feel bad.
and no, I am not misogynistic because i dont hate her character. I simply feel a lack of empathy for her. Yes, shes young and in love. Yes shes naive, but at her age, shes an adult who is capable of making decisions and she is also accountable for her choices.

There's a difference between calling out someone’s behavior as apathetic and labeling it misogyny. Criticizing her actions and holding her accountable doesn’t mean we’re attacking her for being a woman—it’s about acknowledging that, as an adult, she also plays a role in her decisions. No one is saying she’s entirely to blame, but we don’t have to just automatically feel sorry for someone when they make choices that contribute to their situation.
Misogyny is prejudice or hatred towards women, not simply disagreeing with or criticizing a woman’s actions or behavior. If someone is holding a woman accountable for decisions she’s made as an adult, it doesn't automatically translate to misogyny. In fact, I'm treating her as an equal by holding her accountable for her choices—whether they're good or bad—this actually respects her autonomy.

yeah i give up, it’s whatever. i wasn’t addressing either of you and we’re all free to have a difference in opinion. im sorry you felt offended but take into account next time what and who a comment is addressing. i said “victim blamers” and “misogynistic webtoon readers.” if you simply feel apathy for her and nothing else then i wasn’t addressing you, have we finally cleared that up? okay then let’s just go on our merry way

and i PERSONALLY find issue with that, trying to hold her accountable for believing the man she loved. but we don’t have to agree. i stand by that it’s harmful rhetoric. the only thing we agree on here is that ahri needs to take responsibility for herself and protect her peace by breaking up with mincheol for good, the only difference is that i feel sympathy for her and you don’t and THATS OKAY how did it spiral so much? icl ts pmo sm n sb rn ngl, r u srsly srs n fr rn vro? Smh lol atp js go ... b fr vro, idek nm, brb gng gtg atm lmao, bt ts pmo 2 js lmk lol onb fr, ac nvm b wt istg ts vro keys ts pmo

i don’t need educating it’s okay if you don’t find it misogynistic but the reasons people hate ahri are several levels of misogynistic. and the demographic of people who hate on ahri and the coworker are textbook webtoon misogynists. you don’t have to lump yourself with that group, you clarified you just feel apathy for her

Okay, I get what you’re saying. Both Ahri and the fl are in the same boat! They both fell for Mincheol and had/is putting up with his lies because he’s their first love! And he is/had taken advantage of their love for him to get what he wants! He may had genuine feelings for the fl at one point but he quickly started acting selfish after a period of time! Ahri should be seen as unfortunate because she, as Mincheol also pointed out, is innocent and naive! She obviously had no prior relationships before Mincheol so we should ease up on her and hopes she takes this lesson and learn from it and stay away from guys like Mincheol!
honestly the one i feel bad for the most is the red head's gf
