emiliano's reserved silence that convey words and feelings before he's even opened his mouth, carcel's vague yet demanding questions, the tragedy that's tinged the whole scenario, them having this conversation directly under god's statue, the god/messiah that they think is the cause of their repeated lives, and the heavy emotion in the air filled with both of theirs quiet sorrow for the woman they both love and both being under the misconception that her love is guided to the other.
THIS is how you do scenes filled with tension, suspense and emotion, even without a fancy camera and background music.
