I didnt really pay attention to that, is there really such a big age difference?
if i remember correctly, there's only a 4 year age difference between them. It's not so bad as it seems but she was just drawn very small beside him in the beginning.

Tbh I felt weirded out at first bc of the age difference
But there really weren't any weird scenes
Most happened was when she truly smiled and he went "huh, didn't know she could smile like that"
And he literally hasn't done anything that could be considered grooming, no sexual/romantic advances, no emotional manipulation, no weird possessiveness
That jealous side only appeared in the ball, when she was already 18
I think at some point it also showed him thinking/saying he'd support her in any way he can, even if she decides she doesn't want to be with him romantically
