Yeah it was clear in the manhwa that he won't let go of his family but because he was guilty, his pride, ego for wanting a perfect fam or what ever he was holding down his guts.. but the best thing he should do is to let go especially to his wife she deserve better.. for the child, he can still support her.. but i believe the author's style is about fuck up BL stories..
