it's SOOO delicious to me how dominant cheoljin is and what a crazy control freak he is (so that he's super bad at submitting and being vulnerable...like he would only do so for minwoo)...it's really interesting how we see so many reversals of their dynamic from middle school (where minwoo thought cheoljin was toying with him but now cheoljin clearly thinks minwoo is toying with him - it's clear both are just hurting each other unintentionally)
minwoo is SOO blind though omg there's a serious limit to how blind you can be...like the way he's still convinced cheoljin sleeps around?? him not knowing that he's the one that hurt cheoljin adn cheoljin not telling him?? and he still doesn't know that he's poor?? like man...minwoo really convincing himself of these things so that he doesn't fall for cheoljin bc he doesn't want to be weak. i think the season is ending so i wonder if things will seriously blow up - it's not like they've resolved anything and had a honest conversation. i wonder if minwoo will get his "revenge" personally i want to see cheoljin cry for once heheheheehehehe (evil) and then make minwoo go after him instead
Being always in control and the dominant part in his relationships, sexual or not, Chul-Jin struggles with letting Minwoo take over and pin him down. Minwoo is a top but both desire each other so much... So, Chul-Jin will let him do whatever he wants (top him) if that means that he's getting closer to being trusted again and be Minwoo's only source of solace, now that he's finally rejected by Norman. I like him but he will always be calculative because that's how he always lived his life.
But their dynamic in the almost 200 chapters doesn't change too much. They fight, well Minwoo fights, Chul-Jin keeps to himself and only acts in spite or to manipulate a situation, but then they have hungry and messy sex... and when you think Minwoo is finally coming to terms with the past and starts acting more loving towards Chul-Jin... Something happens. But Minwoo, again, is blind to all of that and wants to trust him... Toxic as hell. But that's what's so interesting about this story. The different kinds of dynamics and situations the characters get into and all revolves around first loves and how that defined them.
