There's a part of me what was dreading he was going to get full on jealous of hodu. I'm so glad that's not the case and he sees the puppy as a lost baby, not as competition for affection.

He actually was in the novel. It was poignant because it showed Heeseong's insecurity stemming from being abandoned by his pack 2x (by his family and then by his jerk of a hyung fr the casino)
