This is one case where its not homophobia. Art in straight romance also just gets worse sometimes. Deadlines pile up and shit has to get out quick
It often gets worse in all genres, because of the harsh working conditions. I heard one artist describing how it is and it sounds like slavery.
I've only seen one or two cases in straight romance where art gets better, rest of all cases they get worse too. So it isn't a matter of genre I suppose.
I've heard that as well. Particularly for artists in cultures with overwork cultures.
I also noticed a bit of a downgrade in the faces mostly how far apart yuders eyes were and I thought maybe I was tripping but then in this most recent chapter the proportions were slightly off in kishiars face as well. I love the art it’s prolly just the pressure and rush the artist is facing as of late I don’t mind too much since the story’s so intense and exciting my minds to preoccupied to even care about some panels looking off!
I felt the art was so off when I was reading this again and so I went from chaoter 40 to 1 and my god the art has gotten so much worse and ik a little dramatic but goodness so I skipped ahead to the latest and it has improved just a slight bit but wow if only yaoi art was treated the same as straight romance art and only got better as it went on well oh well
