I wouldn’t drop it. There’s more to it than that as to why they wanted to put on that kind of skit in front of all of the nobles. Part of it is yes to get to the basement but another part of it helps them out later on. I don’t want to spoil it if you are still going to read it.
So I think although it might be ugh why did the writer have to push that, there was thought behind it. I think it is written really well. Usually I drop some stories in the middle as they all tend to be the same cliche story, but this one is good. My opinion tho.
OK, so I’m on chapter like 63 and I just wanna say the whole entire bit of the Crown Prince and the FL being in this weird “affair” just to go downstairs to the magicians lab with stupid like generally I used to read this back in the day when it was first like publishing and I stopped some kind of shocked. I haven’t even finished it yet but so far just because of that whole bit of that from like 55 to 62 I’m gonna give the story at 8.5. I’m on the verge of dropping it like I’m embarrassed.b
