In fact, the more people read their work, more attention they'll get. That's how others who can afford their work will notice them. But those who couldn't afford it wouldn't buy it either way!
I think truthfully they wouldn't be this famous if they didn't have illegal readers.
And as soon as they get famous they start to complain about illegal international sites(not even the korean ones!)

Read it properly. This exact manhwa is an example of how piracy has resulted in favorable outcomes. Piracy, especially in the western market, is what made euja's work popular, and what made people buy it. Her work was unknown in 2021 when it was only on Korean sites. She got a serialization with lez hin and her work get popular on sites like mangago, and people chose it buy it from then.

"Piracy is what made people buy it" No, piracy and the morons spreading how to access her work for free is what led her to this crashout. Quit trying to justify not wanting to pay for something, just own up to it. "I'm doing her a favor by telling people how to get away with not paying her for her work, she should be thanking me!" The entitlement is unreal.

...do u think people who earn and have money actually has time to do that deep research about what to read after their exhausting 9to5?? It's us unemployed pirate gooners who market these authors with word of mouth. Infact piracy plays a huge role in their popularity and brings the real buyers to their doorsteps so indirectly they help them to earn than just leechoff the free content.

Piracy made the author crash out because she’s a crazy bitch obsessed with bullying others. It’s not the first time she’s done this ,she went after one of her own legal readers way back just for sharing a fanwork of her art. That incident led the reader to deactivate their account and stop buying her chapters and merch legally. And yes, piracy is what made her work famous , you can go argue with the wall.
Also, let me tell you something else, she has never made any crash out tweets telling her Korean readers who read illegally to kill themselves. She only targets non-Koreans because she knows there will be no consequences.

lmao you want me to state an exact amount? A majority of them are. It's even the same on reddit. The bl subreddit is filled with legal readers and I, an illegal reader, recommended a Manga to them and they bought it and read it. Do you see how it works? Piracy is morally wrong but it has it's benefits. She reaped the benefits and is now telling us to kill ourselves
I don't understand people who say the author is losing money with piracy, people read pirated content because they don't have the means to afford the content, the author isn't losing any money because people weren't going to buy it anyway...because they don't have money for it.
