Am I the only one who enjoys the story? And doesn't care abt who the ml is? Cause seriously. How important is that? Her ex was just courteous with her, perhaps unloving but he never hurt or despised her either, what's wrong with being calculating as a noble in a monarchy? It's literally everyone, while the dark haried dude is legit trapping her and making her be enemies with the princess of the country..etc just hurting, stalking her, being a horrible trash. So who gives a shit if he isn't ml. There's no completely good love interest, the MC is beautifully smart, Elaine and Anne are sweet and fun, the girl friendships are carrying.
