its a great detail honestly, as dried blood becomes dark brownish red compared to fresh blood, but also maybe to set the mood of the scene as grim and give it a dramatic sense. Although, considering the artstyle and the lighting of the scenes, a normal red wouldn’t look nice and would stand out in an ugly manner:) if this makes sense
