I don't normally write such long reviews but, I just finished and I'd have to say, this started decent and that's about it. There are a lot of elements that could have been omitted like the whole isekai thing. I feel like the only reason she was isekaied is for one thing and then it didn't matter for the story in any other way.
Also, what happened with Diana in the end? She had so little screen time for being the "protagonist" of the original story and all. And another thing, the whole Chang empire thing seemed like it was used just as an excuse for some plot points to move along.
So many things don't make sense. Richard's character sucks and not because of the whole Philip thing, but because it literally doesn't make any sense, from the tree moment to all of a sudden I'm gonna kill everything. So many things go from 0 to 100 without explanation, and I'm left having to fill in the gaps with my own reasoning.
For what reason did that idiotic goddess save him from the river??? I repeat, so many things make 0 sense, and is never explained. All can say is it could've been perfect, but a lot of the story wasn't fleshed out well and left it pretty mid.
If I could do half stars, I'd give is 3.5. I gave it 4 but honestly that's a little much and I might give it 3, but let's see how these side stories go.
