You’re right. She could have created a plan to end back up with him but she didn’t want to. She actually made the choice not to ruin her life and his life. She even stated it in the manhwa but the novel has more details. Another example is after she almost died around ch36, when she woke up the next day, she was determined that no one would stand in her way…not even Emiliano.
I don’t remembered where I read this but I read that Ines never loved Emiliano and that she basically used him to escape. Is that still true and does Emiliano know that also?
