No i get you fr.. im just reading to finish it at this point… the only character i like in here is vic the director lol I feel like noah is so bland and empty as a character, well the same goes for mason as well but i wish the author wrote more about his past especially his dead little brother more to give him more depth and maybe that will explain more on why he has such a saviour complex
I completely agree with you, everything felt so forced and childish. I feel like it’s a story a 15 y old can come up with in wattpad. It lacks depth in every aspect, characters, story and the relationships. If you are interested in something similar but well-written you should read “at the end of the road”.
I really, really wanted to enjoy this but it's just not that good. The chemistry between the couple is just so lacking, with Mason being dull and Raycarlton being an obsessive, manipulative red flag. I'm fine with dubcon, but it was more like I didn't understand why they were suddenly having sex when they didn't seem to even like each other? Or even feel attracted to each other? It's just weird and the romance aspect feels completely forced. Also Raycarlton is just so incredibly unlikeable as a character,, why make him part of the main couple?
