i didnt know she cheated i thought the reason for the divorce was not given. but whatever she can still see her daughter sges still tge mommy and cant be cut off completely
I think it's because of the custody laws in Japan. I believe they don't have joint custody like most countries so legally, only one parent is the guardian and with how demanding the japanese workforce is, if your kid isn't living with you, you just won't see them as much

idk i feel sad for the mother who cant see her kid because the dad is gay. it doesnr look like she did smtg bad and the girl wanted to see her mommy too but it wasnt relevant its just not enough background info.
