I was thinking there might be a whole novel? And maybe they decided to start the manhwa adaptation from the midpoint of the story? That might explain why we didn't see their first meeting

It's a spin off of the novel! So basically epilogue episodes
You'd have to read the novel if you want to know how they get together etc
