Because a child can take after their mother as well...

Agreed with the comment above, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t culturally impacted too. Being tan or darker is not considered beautiful in South Korea.

I am also aware biology works like that too but I don't think that's what's going on here. I know it doesn't matter much cause the story is basically over but as a fellow brown skinned person I'm gonna drop this

They are fine with it as long as it's a love interest or the ML even. But the moment it's the FL or a child that is quite central to the story, a child u are supposed to love or heaven forbid the FL's baby, they get so disgusted

True. When they do accept them it's some kind of a fetish. Fat people get the same disgusting treatment. If a character is fat it's rarely not a villain. Korean people are pretty weird when it comes to black culture too. This is very clearly visible in kpop.

Exactly it’s weird they are so werid about black culture especially when theirs areas in Japan and Korea a lot of them that try to dress like us or chicanos since the 1990’s and depict us as unruly people in manwhas or barbaric it’s truly weird since a lot of their fashion history even now is of us and a copy yet won’t acknowledge they took any of it and just like you said even Kpop idols use take our songs and they be some a hit with no recognition #-.-)

There is also cultural appropriation too. As in braids and accents. I think kpop even started thanks to black music. They fantasize about the white man and try their best to pretend the black one does not exist. They are pretty openly racist too. In webtoons, kdramas and some idols just say it outloud like RM.
I think FD Signifier has a great video about this on yt. And poc are something of a lower cast.

Even other asians have complained as in vietnamese , thai that they are discriminated against too. Very severly at that. Korea has moved forward materially along with technology and knowledge but it has been morally rotting away for a while now.

It's not that other asian countries are any better but being one of the most developed countries here on this side it is just unacceptable .

In general majority of fictional stories do not ever follow real life logic. Authors often write children of characters to get either a copy paste child of one parent or a full switch of features. There hardly exists anything about skin tone being mixed. I genuinely think it’s just that they don’t apply that realistic logic. For artists it’s like a dress up game where they take color schemes of hair and eyes and paste them onto the child. Most don’t actually blend any details together. Then again, they have characters with all the colors of the rainbow as natural hair, so logic never applies.
