Just cause he was miserable doesn’t mean he can make everyone else around him miserable too, his actions traumatize everyone around him including bullying the main character so severely that he had bruises and a broken arm, and also developed an anxiety disorder. That’s only what he did to the main character. He also traumatized the male lead making him develop an inferiority complex sex addiction and a neglectful household with both emotional and physical trauma so no I don’t understand why you don’t hate him lol. I’m glad he died. That’s what he deserves.
I definitely direct most my hate towards their mom. She’s the true villain of the story. I see where he was coming from, he definitely was struggling dealing with his illness. I think this chapter really highlighted that. However, there’s no excuse for his actions. He literally made Seoins life hell, and beat up YW simply because he was struggling to deal with his own problems. I still hate their mom the most tho
Ikr i was fucking pissed when i learned that they even changed his birthday. She was too selfish. The more i learn how the adoption process is just modern legal trafficking, the more i hate it. I mean their are definitely parents who actually just wanna adopt but the system now just enables abuse ngl. Also i hate the whole family, like what tf was their fucking problem?? Why tf were they so cold to him. It was so unreasonable but ik that this happens irl too where they think "blood thicker than water".

It’s possible that some people can feel for someone else despite the things they’ve done. Like criminals. People can be (justifiably) horrified by their actions but also feel bad for the reason they turned out the way they did and commit crimes. No one is justifying any of the wrong things that kid did.
I’m actually adopted, and I know you gotta go through a lot to be able to adopt in the states. Idk how it is in Korea tho, and unfortunately the parents would’ve looked like the perfect pair to adopt on paper. Both the boys were doomed with the parents they had, more so because of the mom. She cant see past her own trauma and always makes selfish decisions and is content with sweeping everything under the rug. She made both of her sons lives miserable because of that.
Is it just me who doesn't hate jae won sm? I think he was depressed about his conditions and when his mom adopted seoin who looks just like him, maybe he felt like they were trying to replace him as he is sick and dying. What he did was wrong but he was still a kid
