I think there’s something I need to clarify. This manga is just one of many sources of the problem and I chose to focus more on it because of the comments I’ve been seeing on here but there are definitely wayyyy worse ones I’ve seen that are extremely popular but still beloved just because red flag ‘takes care’ of the uke who didn’t even want to be involved with him in the first place.
The fact is this manga is a really good example of this problem due to its popularity and the fan base. it’s been at the center of the issue since its release. Fact is as well on why some are talking about it and having discussions is to try and mitigate the demand for these kinds of content. Cause these aren’t just being made just because the authors can anymore. They’re taking note of the popular mangas tropes and using it to push their mangas and it works. As long as there is demand for this kind of content it will definitely be made.
As longs as the demand is high the quantity is gonna get even higher, unfortunately thats how marketing works ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
