yoonsung is actually one of the best male leads i've encountered while reading. i cannot stress enough how much of a green flag he is. The way he longed for hakyung, loved him all this time, and cared for him once he saw him again was so loving and selfless. even after he found out that hakyung was a guy, he realized he still loved him regardless. i like how we didn't get into the "im straight but i only like you" trope! it was more of a "i found out that you're a guy but i love you so much for who you are" type story. and i enjoyed that very much.
hakyung is also a very likeable mc. i found myself empathizing with him throughout the story and continously wished the best for him. sometimes it's hard to not get annoyed at mcs when they're poorly written, but i found myself loving hakyung and his sacrifices more and more each chapter.
