In county like Asia including my country sadly the court is shit. I see many stories like these where even they tried take this case to court it takes them years even a decade but the case still not settled. The wives/mothers cried how they've wasted their thousands of money and times but still doesn't get their justice. It sucks but that's the reality, while I hate how some mother just leaves their child like that, I still understand where they're coming from
To ppl asking why the mom (and manhwa mother in general) run away without the kids: in Korea the sole custody usually stays with the dad, if she took the child she can be treated as a kidnapper legally.
I wear extremely sad real life stories about husbands that used their kids as a bargain chip to abuse the wives bc they knew she wouldn't be able to take the kids
