As I am.readjng it. It is a character that is mentioned in the movie but does now have an actor. The character is only told about and from that mc puts together that this character is the one that connects all the characters in the movie by connecting their past.
What he acts out is a scene that a different character talks about in the movie but that is not shown

Yep, like a plot driver. This characters are usually just there to drive the protagonist to the state they are during the movie. But if the character garners enough interest, they either come back if a sequel or even a prequel as a major character focus. Like an "origin" theme for example.
