No I agree. I’ve probably read the novel 10+ times and I always skip that scene now. I think he does make up for it, but it still makes me uncomfortable. It almost feels unnecessary, even if I do feel like the after conversation is so good and such a pivotal part of their relationship

So top is jealous and angry and bottom is like lets fuck, but the top is like im gonna be very rough if we do rn and bottom said well i liked it last time so lets be rough, and top was like that was not rough ill show you rough. And they proceed to have verrrrry rough sex. He pushed him down very roughly and did very minimal prep saying he wish for it to hurt. Imo, though it was consensual to start, it was still a bit hard for me to read. Some of yall are definitely gonna say it was rape-y and i feel like the author added it for shock value (ik its in the novel) but made sure it was still somewhat consensual before with top making sure bottom had a chance to leave b4. He did say “if we have sex now i am not gonna be gentle but very rough” which i guess was the authors warning?? But imo there is a v clear difference in them being rough their first time vs this time fuelled by jealousy and anger and wanting bot to be in pain
Like yes bottom was asking for it but he also was saying it hurt and to slow down and he bled. The bottom was also saying it felt good when he was hitting his spot (as they always do between stop and it hurts) but i do not like how harsh he was being at all… again the bottom did agree to go hardcore before they started and wanted to do it but it did still rub me wrong…
In the next chapter it continues until bot passes out and though bot tells seme he went too far i do feel a way still!!
