Now.... wait a minute, i reread this manhua from chapter 1 until 30 at least an i notice some things interesting here:
1. In chapter one when zhang li meet the grave robbers, they put him in the stone coffin and he kept hitting the rock until his hands bleed and i saw some symbols in the coffins, like the Ankh, Eye of Horus, Eye of Ra, Ba, Crook and Flail and all those symbols you mainly see if you're familiar with Egyptian Ancient Symbols, and you guys can correct me if I'm wrong since I'm not familiar with this, but the Ankh symbol (looked like a cross and have a loop on top of that, it's also the first symbol that make appearance in this panel) is often associated with Anubis? 2. I think Zhang Li's memory about Rocky/Stone is kinda disoriented a bit? Idk how to explain it but he started to see or notice every bit of Rocky/Stone's resemblance in everyone idk if it's due through trauma, ptsd or simply cause he misses him too much...
- at first yes he immediately thought that Mehemis/Mimi is the Stone/Rocky right? which is quite reasonable giving the resemblance.
- and when i read this part, https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/see_you_my_king/uu/br_chapter-166161/pg-7/ this red hair man (forgot the name) didn't even resemble Rocky a bit, expect the hairstyle. So i thought (at first), at this part Zhang Li was like, "huh?? Is Stone/Rocky is the one visiting me rn?" And then be like, "nevermind..." But then again when i reread this, Zhang Li RECOGNIZED him first as "red hair" and then having a doubt later? "He's the statue... No..." Or it's refer to a different meaning of "statue" here? (Not referring to Rocky), cmiiw.
- at chapter 22, here https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/see_you_my_king/uu/br_chapter-168518/pg-5/ when Zhang Li saw Mehemis' brother, at first he's also having a doubt that he could be Rocky, but i get it i mean they're kinda related in some way or another and have a similar look/expression on their faces so it makes sense if Zhang Li got a lil confused (eummm that white hair brother and Mehemis are related by blood somehow, right? or are they like not related by blood at all/? Adopted? Something like that/? I forgot sorry...)
- and NOW!! in chapter 114 https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/see_you_my_king/uu/nml_chapter-114/pg-6/ here, Zhang Li started to see Anubis' smile and thought it looks like Stone/Rocky when they tried to hide something.
REMEMBER EVEN THE FIRST CHAPTER MAKE IT CLEAR THAT IT'S FROM ZHANG LI'S POV, SO WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS... WHAT IF... JUST WHAT IF:
— he actually trying to cope and saw Rocky's face in everyone he saw or even if that means when he only notice a slight resemblance in them.
— it could be a loop, that's why he actually started to forgot Mehemis' face cause he narrated this story from the future after he broke the loop, that's why even in his story that he currently narrates (the one we read) he started to see every little bit of Rocky/Stone that he can find in different person he met, like his memories started to disoriented.
— as the first chapter, it's clear that zhang Li narrated this to us https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/see_you_my_king/uu/br_chapter-166144/pg-21/ what if he wanted us to believe that Rocky has the same face as Mehemis cause clearly he loves him, yes ofc, but in reality, maybe... JUST MAYBE Rocky/Stone's face is not even look like Mehemis' or slightly different but he (Zhang Li) want us to see it based on what he wants us to see...
