omg thats such a good point, I didnt even think about that. the fact that she bases her whole existence off of kael's revenge mirrors kael's existence as a second male lead- shes experiencing what he was going through when he was cast aside by diana and helios:(( it sucks that kael is the one who inadvertently did this to her but its a good thing hes still there with her to stop her from doing anything drastic like kael did in their previous lives

"Kael is dead. To me who somehow continues to live in this world, you were my only hope" Hestia's first words in this story. Getting revenge for Karl is her only reason to live even with all the changes to the story and her relationship with Kael, the foundation of her existence in this world is Revenge for Kael. I am loving this development because it's Kael's dynamic with Diana in the beginning. He was a character written as a part of Diana's development in the story and was ultimately discarded also as part of her and Helios' relationship development. When I'm off work and have a functional brain I'm going to do a whole breakdown on this because it's awesome writing and story development
