It's gotten so better now. But in the beginning Jei seemed really sus, and Seojin was so mopey and acting like a martyr. I assume a lot of people dropped it at that point. Or when they realized that Minwoo was not end game. Personally, I'm glad I stuck with it because I love stories about unrequited love and I'm glad Jei and Seojin had so much growth since then.
The rating for this story is lower than I expected it to be. Nobody cheated, nobody got physically or sexually abused, there is no stalking, there is no manipulation, there is no ilegal or weird age gap nor are they committing incest. It’s just two dudes who finally admitted to loving each other after 15 years of friendship.
The ML literally said that the break up was mutual. Gisella, admitted that she loves and cares for the ML but she isn’t willing to stay with a man who was obviously unaware that he was in love with his best friend. Matter of fact, she pushed the MC to confess his feelings to get this whole ordeal over with. Yeah the MC was a bit of a coward because he feared losing his friend completely but at least he never made any actual moves on the ML so WHY IS THE RATING OF THIS STORY SO LOW, they’re literally cute together.
