I acknowledge that Versa is the current mistress of the house yet their family still confuses me. If Vichen’s mother was the first wife of Khan then wouldn’t that mean the previous children are illegitimates?
Of course, I could only assume this with the medieval common sense on family. For a child to be deemed a legitimate descent, shouldn’t he/she be from the official mistress of the house? In other words, children must be born from legally married parents or else they are born out of wedlock, and become illegitimate kids.
Following the same argument, if Sarvana is the first wife of the current head, then how is it possible for the first to the sixth child to be an legitimate heirs of the Adenca household?
This is the reason I want to know if the elders put their grandchildren as Adenca heirs or if Khan had siblings and had children before him.
Oh! @Raebin, I think you are right. It was not stated in chapter 90 that Sarvana is the first wife of Khan but his true love. This could mean that Versa is the first and current wife of Khan.
And yes, on chapter 60, Khan’s flashback confirms that Vichen is his only son with Sarvana.

This a poly Emperor with his wife and harem thing for poilitical alliances. At least that is what it feels like.
While they are HALF-siblings (they share a father) they don't all seem to resemble Sarvana...and there is 7 siblings with Vinchen being number 7 and a younger sister being the youngest at number 8.
And the eldest son? I don't think he is her's unless someone else is raising her kids. Cause he seems to be working with/for that elder. Not Sarvana...
There definitely has to be more biological moms than just Sarvana. Maybe she only had 2 kids and the rest belong to others?
No.. Khan.. Vinchen’s father only has two wives women.. Versa and sarvana.. Sarvana only has one child which is vinchen.. The others are versa.. I had read the novel in the past.. There is no third woman and even the wikis had put all the other children’s mother as Versa.. I am pretty sure there is no other woman..

If you look properly.. None of them look too similar like any khan or versa.. Even vinchen in the art doesn't look like khan or sarvana that much.... I think it is more about the art style… But Versa is the other's mother.. I am very sure..
Had to reread the history of Vichen’s mother and her family. It is true that Vichen is her son, but I don’t think there are implications that said the older siblings are her children, too.
This leads me to the question, if Sarvana is Khan’s first wife then, whose mother are those children?
Did Khan have siblings? Wouldn't the titles of them kids be like, adopted or relative instead of being a direct Adenca descent? I could be wrong since I really cannot remember if the elders in the Adenca household are true Adenca.
