I know he was being truthful,but it was still selfish of him,and he was being desperate,he wanted to marry her at all cost,even if she didn't love him as a man,which she didn't.Maybe they still would've lived happily considering they're besties.But Kyle never stood a chance against Mathias,he's naive and immature ╮(￣▽￣)╭
And about getting a good college education,i'm sure he does care about it,but in that moment to me it looked more like he was just desperate trying to convince Leyla to just marry him.I did read the novel,even after getting rejected and leaving Arvis he still keeps sending letters to Leyla,i'm like just Move ooon boy! ┗( T﹏T )┛If he had,he wouldn't be broken further witnessing what was coming next.At the end i wanted him to be happy too,and didn't like seeing him in that pitiable one sided love,i know damn well how suffocating one sided love is.That's why i don't sympathise with Kyle,bcs he reminds me of my old self#－.－)I want him to be strong and mature and just accept it.But no,he won't.And it's frustrating,like is it that hard to love and respect yourself,and get over a girl.I guess it is ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Oh man hate me for this,but i started not sympathising Kyle.His immaturity is annoying,he's more like a boy than a man.I mean why can't he accept that Leyla doesn't have romantic feelings for him,she told him right she views him as a brother and a freind.Why can't he accept that and move on.But with that cute little face of his he's not just gotta suffer alone but make us suffer too.Imagine he didn't care much and just moved on,we would feel less sorry for him ╮(￣▽￣)╭
