being cruel to dong-gyun than you can remember does not make him better than jaekyung, these are not facts they are opinions. the fact is that when bj alex was being made, readers were behaving just as they are now ; they’ll tear him apart, until the redemption arc comes and they’ll claim to have loved the story until its end.
It's not grasping at straws to say that one person did more bad things than another, it's a totally reasonable metric to compare people on when that is literally what we're assessing. And I don't care how other people reacted when they first read BJ Alex, I have my own views. I'm sure some people will take a revisionist view of JK once he gets his redemption arc but just because they do that doesn't mean your argument is correct
jiwon was much worse to dong-gyun in the beginning, so why was bj alex given so much more grace?
I’m almost certain people will rave about how much they loved this story as soon as it ends and have seen jaekyungs redemption arc.
