same way how theres a lot of people who grew up differently despite having no parents dude, kids growing up with parents can turn out to be serial criminals and kids growing up in an orphanage can become world class in whatever field theyre working in, you can call jaekyung less of a person than kim dan is but hes not completely horrible, your observations are shallow at best
I don’t think that’s why we’re getting a backstory. If you really think about it, we don’t really know him? Just his behaviour and how he acts but we I don’t know why? (Not justifying it tho)
A backstory can never fully justify how a person behaves later on . Like Dan too had a tragic backstory did he turn out to be a jerk ? No . It do impacts on life and personality but never justifies someone shit personality. It's just Jaekyoung like that . Given his personality a normal romance or chasing arc feels some distant dream . Anyway I would like to see how Mingwa nim would unfold it .
