Saw people theorizing that nagare and okaya were switched at birth and that's the reason he's so obsessed and tbh it'd be crazy if proven true
Its not completely impossible... but I feel like okaya's weird mom would've known or smth (another freak) Methinks its just a case of face same syndrome as to why okaya looks more similar to maria than nagare does. Also, if they really were switched at birth the reason/backstory behind that would've been a lot crazier, cause.... why? Just why switch them at birth?? For what reason????? And how'd he even find out something like that???
Also if my memory serves me right (Its been a while) one of the chapters showed that okaya started bullying him because he defended one of the victims (glasses kid) from being bullied, so it seems like it really has more to do with nagare defying him than birth switch.. but then again the author did pull a yakuza family in the mix, so who knows...

Also, while I wouldn't necessarily call what okaya feels towards nagare as love, he is def obsessed with him. It was hinted at before, but the cockroach extra and picture pretty much confirms it, considering its lit been 2 yrs and he still hasn't moved on (freak). And if yall can't see it, its pretty much a media literacy problem now lol.
I hope yall realize that acknowledging his strong (albeit unhealthy) feelings for nagare wouldn't equate to people shipping them nor romanticising those actions irl (lets be fr now). And even if people DO ship them just leave them be... Its literally not that serious
