not trying to defend the weird age aspect of this story (because fact of the matter is that he did marry the same kid he raised, and that's got no defence) but i think what the author was trying to depict was how soulmates don't necessarily have to be romantic/sexual. soul-bond relationships can also be platonic, as in parental, siblings, friends, teachers etc. soulmates itself doesn't contain any inherent romantic implications :) it's a good read overall though 10/10!
That would've been great and all if the parental and romantic soul mates weren't the same pair. TerracottaPie
yep, agree 100%. looking back idk what i was trying to prove by providing my own explanation for an inexcusable action. its bad execution no matter what, shame because the rest of this storyline was amazing.
