First off I think you meant Hikaru. Haruka is the mother. Anyway, I totally get your point but that would make this story your somewhat typical yet drama tragedy romanticized rape that is rampant in Yaoi. The author probably wanted to do something different and most likely a realistic take on rape. This is not incest but nonetheless they are brothers by law thus making the situation even more mentally and psychologically fucked up for the brothers with the worst effect on Haruki. The story would've been simple if Haruki just fell in love and we wouldn't have such a challenging story to read if this weren't written this way.
Rather then tormenting him and raping him again and again til the point haruki thought of commiting suicude .if he would have been persistent towards his love for haruki it would have been diffrent. I dont know anymore what will happen in the end but if both of them endup together it doesn't make any sense .first you will show us how rape can be traumatic then you will make victim fall for rapist why? Suddenly changing it in to romantacize rape when from the first day haruki doesn't like it. Hikaru have this unhealthy crazy obsession towards haruki which is not right .so in my opinion no they should not end up together.

Hey you are not the only sick person in the world and I totally get what you feel. I felt that and honestly that is one of my probable endings. They will never be in love but just continuing this sick lustlful yet loveless relationship. If the author can pull that off that they end up together but not implying they have a mutual romantic love affair then I would be impressed and bow down to Kashio. But then again unfortunately not everyone would understand that they are not a loving couple. And the comment section would be bloody. I can never accept a romanticized ending but a sick loveless one, YES.
Honestly I'm just waiting for what the author is planning. I am ready. Haha. I can never accept romanticized rape too but sure they can "end up together" just not in the romantic way like a normal couple. But that's just one of the endings I thought of. There are others.

Such ending would be a waste on this well written roller coaster. I'd probably cry because I was rooting for a better ending. There are so many endings the author can take except for that, and I can accept any of them EXCEPT for that. I'm just looking forward for the writing style and direction, heck I care if any of them dies, if that is what is best for the plot.

I agreed for all your opinion, although I hoped they ended together as a lovers or just brothers. But if they both dies, it become a waste plot. I know many of readers wants younger brother suffer for raped and makes his brother suffer from raped and fear experience, but still a second chance maybe?

1. They both suicides
2. The older bro dies and the younger become crazy, ended at psychiatric hospital
3. The younger brother dies and the older have some mental issues
I don't have the best ending because I accept any route as long as they don't end up as a normal Lovey dovey lovers/couple (sorry). Kashio may go with a psychotic, happy or sad ending.
I've thought of either
1) old bro Haruki dies, story ends on open-ended one with Hikaru being suicidal
2) Haruki dies, their parents recognize Hikaru's mental breakdown
3) Haruki lives and friend/ex bf (forgot his name) finds him and saves Haruki; while Hikaru gets crazy and gets punished, or not
4) the brothers continue their lustlful yet loveless relationship - go mental and just go with a twisted ending
This is all but a flashback, we're supposed to go back to the present which is the 1st page of the 1st chapter so I don't have a clear idea about the ending.
I know if my comment somehow will triggered some readers but why Haruki can't come to love Haruka? I know, damned it of raped thing but so far Haruka is the only one consistent to loved Haruki. I admitted he's way for love is a big crazy rapist but I kinda hope Haruki will give himself a chance to love his younger brother (⊙…⊙ )
(Honestly too tired for happy ending, why I'm still hope they both loved each other like lovers do?)
