I did not read clearly but to sum it up, after killing ml, our fl took his sword her everywhere therefore he was with her through each and every hardship inside the sword or smth like that hence he fell for her that way. Also there's more smth like he saw what she was like before the sword took over our fl. Therefore we can say he got emotionally attached to her and I love this new fresh ml. We don't need life and death situations for 2 to fall in love. He seems like the yandere type to obsess quickly and I love it.

I HATE yandere so much, obsession isn’t love so I really hope that’s not the case here. I hate red flags. I’ve seen this spoilers after making a comment, I don’t like that plot. Seems shallow and lazy. It’s like developing a parasocial relationship with a celeb. I really can’t stand „love at first sight” or any other „we don’t even know each other, but I’m in love with you” kind of tropes. Sure, we don’t need life and death kind of situation for them to fall in love, but we do need SOME KIND OF SITUATIONS for them to fall. I will let it pass, cause I really like the plot and FL, but this is just bad-writing for me. At least just make him have a crush, not full on in love.

If this is how you feel about the plot, i think it's better you drop this series like a hot plate and move on. From reading about how you took the spoilers you're only gonna get mad imo.

He at least has proper interactions with her, and he’s not in love, he has a crush. It’s logical. I like the ML too, I just find their reasoning stupid. In real life that would be dumb. So what if he watched her? They barely interacted. Crush would be fine, love? Yeah, sorry, that doesn’t work for me. Tell me how is that not a parasocial relationship?

And why are you so angry that someone believes you need an actual interaction for being in love with someone?

I don’t mind either of them having feelings, my issue is with the depth and intensity of them.

It’s not one when she knows him parasocial only works if the person doesn’t know them whatsoever sure falling in love with someone without necessarily interacting with them much sounds ridiculous but it happens im not sure how to even explain it

I appreciate the advice, however I’m pretty confident in judging on my own whether I want to continue reading something or not. Romance isn’t the main reason why I started reading this story, action part and female lead is. Why would I drop something just because I find the love origin disappointing? I like the ML and I like the 2nd ML, more than anything, I like how unique this story is. Dunno how my comment sounded to you, but seems like you might assume that I’m more upset than I actually am. I’m just disappointed. However, if this will turn into a toxic, obsessive story then yeah, give me heads up if you know about it and I will drop it. I can get past weird parasocial relationship, but I cannot stand red flag MLs.

Calm down mate it ain't that serious, it ain't just shallow obsession either. I can't read all that so hold your horses down. If you don't like it then drop it. There are some mls even I despise but instead of throwing around hate like this just because your preference is not being provided does not mean the author will magically change their whole plot around for some basic romance. You're not eager to try smth new? That's on you bro, just move on. Again it ain't that deep.

Ahhh don't worry about that, this ml might be the first ml to be called as an actual character and not only "male lead". This one respects our fl and her boundaries unlike other mls who create uncomfortable situation forcing fl to be around them 24/7. Here it seems like he has life and responsibilities just like our fl. And he also does not interfere in unnecessary " Savings" Knowing well enough our fl is the strongest, physically and emotionally. All he does is give her the little support like hugs and cute interactions, few words after a long day. This ml is the best I've seen so far ngl. Real and practical.

She didn’t know him though. They saw each other and fought, but it’s not like they were even acquaintances. He „fell in love” with her by watching her, kind of like fans and celebrities. In real life that would be creepy. I don’t HATE this point, but it is disappointing. I’m just not someone who believes in love without proper interaction between parties. That’s my opinion

If you cannot take criticism towards the story then I recommend you’re the one who takes a break. I never even said I dislike a ML. As for obsession point, I’m not the one who said it. The person who replied to me did and I just stated that I hate yandere as that’s what they were talking about.

Yes I get your point she doesn’t know him to be a relationship like friends and fall in love but she knew enough and is trying her best to keep him alive because she cares in a way from him giving a chance for her to fight the sword but no love whatsoever obviously she doesn’t want to kill people who don’t deserve it even both timelines and he didn’t even consent to watching her so your point feels effy, when he knows her boundaries anyways he did get over it in the last chapter since he didn’t want something bad happening to her again I don’t even think he’s aware he has more to it with her than he knows

See? That sounds great. As I’ve said before, I do like him. I just don’t like how he gained feelings as I’m someone who only believes in love by interaction. Admiration? Crush? Sure! Love? Love is way too deep of a feeling to me to take it so lightly. I don’t like rushed relationships, and I find them to be lazy writing. That’s just my opinion.

I guess it’s agree to disagree thing. People have different opinions, I just expressed mine. It’s okay to criticize stories and dislike certain parts of them. Doesn’t mean you immediately need to drop it. Actually, I would say it’s degrading to only minimize this types of stories to romance alone. This story is so unique, and art is so beautiful. I would drop it if ML were to be super toxic, but since he isn’t supposed to be then I can get past this part.

Hopefully he isn’t because honestly it feels like he wouldn’t be the type at all and I just think for this story for him to be obsessed red flag ml out of place and not good for the plot I hope he stays like this where he worries but respects boundaries even when he goes over it out of worry

Also, this story is so unique I would find it insulting to only minimize it to one point of romance. The female lead’s backstory, the fact that ML also regressed, her skills and the art style? And I should drop it just cause I don’t like their love origin? Most amazing stories have some parts that could’ve been better, they miss something. Idk how much action you read, but I love Lookism. I think world building and character design is outstanding there compared to other stories, however they suck at writing women. Will I drop it? No, but I will criticize them for it. That’s the case with a lot of webtoons. Nothing is perfect. I only can’t stand stories with overly sexualized women, fetishized abuse and SA or one-sided toxic party (toxic x toxic is fun though).

Yeah, the other person said he isn’t so that’s good. I also think I will read the novel. Either way, even romance aside, this story is way too interesting to miss out on. Art is also amazing. (Also Im a sucker for white-haired characters, so ya know)
