Isn’t his new body super weak though
1) how is he strong enough to kill the whole council? Even in his old body he couldn't do it and won't be able to because it's not just about physical strength
2) killing the king's heart straight off like that isn't the proper way, you don't think Karas would've just done that? He's more than capable enough physically, and he already has an army backing him up. The problem with the King's Heart is the people's faith in them, they have their roots in the kingdom, and they've been an established power for ages. You can't kill them and expect the people to think of their emperor as a wise merciful kind one when to them he just killed the people who were looking over them and helping them through their temples. You need to make the people see the king's heart's sins and misdeeds, make then fall from grace, then end them.

frrr they must do it in a way they can garner ppl's support or else the populace might revolt and stuff/not let him be a proper king/will only spark endless conflicts. iirc the council is tied to religion too, which the populace is dependent on.
They are. That's the whole reason why Karas didn't kill them yet. It may not seem so rn but Karas is actually playing 4D chess rn. He's playing the long game, and even the council is unaware of it. They never expect to fall from grace for the populace so they never expect it

Yea well be a tyrant to a land you live on alone, cause if he goes by that mentality when people oppose him for killing the council he'll just eliminate the people as well, so he rules a land of dead. What's the point then? He's not even that interested in the position actually, and his dream is to just run away with Abel. This whole scheme is as revenge for Abel, and because he knows he'd hate having him kill everyone likr in Abel's master's dream.
