i reread the story again and i wonder if someone took advantage of him when he was a child? maybe he struggled with money too? or he had someone who "shaped him" as the fighter he is but took advantage of him in some way? i don't know, i wonder how he discovered his "jinx," it's just feels like he suffered something or grow up thinking being this violent was alright? (or like those stories when someone is violent because if you show "weakness" you'll lose?)
i just hope it's not a tv drama-justification. the manhwa has been "serious" with the character struggles, so i hope the author doesn't make it over-the-top ┗( T﹏T )┛

the only thing that could slightly make me pity jaekyung would be if he was like abused sexually because sometimes people who were sa’d and/or groomed as a child grow up thinking doing the same to others is fine, but definitely not everyone yall
