I see it as more he loved him dearly because he was his brother.... I mean I grew up with an older brother who I adored who ended up molesting me when he got older. Never pressed charges but he is nowninproson for other stuff... he's still my brother and the feelings of him being my brother that took care of me when I was younger are still there. That won't change, then again in this case I could be wrong...

whatever he means as love (lover) or love as begin brother/family, it still hurt, whatever the person do u can't hate him neither do the hurt him in the same away, and it ends that you hurt your self, because you can't hurt the person you love(as lover or family)
