correct. i don’t remember the specific circumstances, but the jiwook suffered physical trauma that wiped his memory, including of everything he did to juyeon (and knowing juyeon). idr if juyeon ACTUALLY knew jiwook completely lost the memories until at least the end of the story but regardless jiwook doesn’t know why juyeon is doing this to him genuinely. when jiwook finds out it’s what causes him to break, basically - becoming completely dependent on juyeon, depressed, suicidal, and believing he deserves torture and abuse.
The uke gangraped the seme when they were young. But how did the uke completely forgot about that? Yeah he hasnt recognized the seme yet, but still before all this had started he was already acting like a total ass. His personality was shitty since the beginning trying pick a fight for no reason. He has no remorse about anything whatsoever. So i think the uke is in general a bad guy thats the bottom line, the uke is actually a bad guy.
