And what the user meant was to clarify the false authencity of the rumors on X. Therefore, there was no separation to begin with, and they are still living very happily together.
To be honest, after I reread their explanation, I suppose what they really meant was to distinct between the characters in the manga and the author of the book with his partner (Nanasaki and Ryousuke) in real life. Although I have not found any clarification from Nanasaki-san himself on either X or Facebook, the fact that he still keeps his relationship status and is actively posting on Facebook kinda puts us at ease from the rumors. Until Nanasaki-san has a say in this matter, our assumptions will remain unsolved. However, I do have a strong belief that they are still a power duo, and Nanasaki currently wants to separate between his love life and his business.
From what I understood (from backreading their tweets and other sources), they did have a fight but didn't divorce. The people against nanapy/gay rights (nanapy was running for elections that time) started the divorce rumor as a smear campaign. Nanapy tweeted about it and denied the rumors, to which one of his colleagues jokingly replied with "they're saying you got divorced, that means they're acknowledging that your marriage is valid".
Nah I also did my research, and did found the screen shot of the tweet where there was actual heated argument between the mc and ml was founded, and apparently some hints of the ml cheating,(but it's deleted now) I had gone in both the mc and ml account, seared about the gay forum there running, just everything yet there was no traces of them being having any relationship, mind you as you can see I already posted two comments which I made them very before... So yeah ml cheated, there's no happy ending or whatever, yes not everyone is happy showing there private life but I have researched from even earlier, and know him before as gay activist on internet, they married off, it's true, but divorce? (That's I think to avoid public nuances they didn't actually had any) but I can assure you, they did broken off and now living as both a different person

I also did some research and apparently it is not authentic. The alleged post was from 2021 and Nanasaki-san's status on Facebook shows that he is still in the relationship and very much active in the campaign. Therefore, combined with "Pon Mi's lyrics" user's explanation, I assure you that they are still a happily married duo, and will continue to be so later on.
