Lol soon enough he going to expose his information about his parents and the accident. I don't exactly remember if it was sasaeng who found it first but he's the one who choose to use it for his own gain. It was a sensitive topics for him but he in the end use that information to gain pity points and get 1st place. He kinda dig his own trauma just to get the 1st place, and well, it was one of rare moment where mc actually show he's struggling mentally and let his guilt ate him alive bcz even he knows it's not morally right to use his own parents to win the show. His relationship with his brother also start to shaken at that time iirc.

In a way it was similar with debut or die incident where moondaes family situation was exposed, but the key difference was that moondae didn't choose to go public about it + it was not his real parents (even tho his real parents also died but yea), he didn't have exactly deep trauma about it. But our mc...well he can actually try to block from info leaking out, but he in the end choose to not do it bcz he knows it'll affect the vote. It took him everything to do it though and I think he can't even sleep bcz of nightmare (sorry if the info not 100% accurate bcz it's been awhile lol)
