1 Yes but seeing as they burned them, I guess the chief freaked out due to the cop’s presence once again, probably a flashback of MLs dad. 2 Yes, they stated before that if they couldn’t get the “goods”(people) themselves, they would just order them. 3 That politician A Possibly supplied those goods and found out what they do, Or B visited the village due to his campaign or homeless era(idk) and found out and took advantage of it. Remember that “mother” helped the chief establish these connections. 4 I think I answered this in 3

Are the people being kept there just used as sacrifices? Or is there human trafficking involved? I'm trying to understand how politicians fit into supporting the chief. Does he just give them good luck?
