The black haired kitsune guy took over a normal circus and used captured youkai to perform for him. One of those youkai was MC's student so went to save him.
In this arc, MC and his class were doing a school assignment when they came across a shrine gate that leads them to the hidden kitsune world.
They were lead to a theater by two kitsune girls who turned out to be the partners of the evil kitsune guy, who then they brainwash the students.
