And the moral of the story is we should always forget men no matter what but god forbid if a woman is not ray of sunshine and all bubbly, then she doesn't deserve happiness. I hate how they all treat og fl as if she deserves all that has happened to her, even the current fl has this annoying attitude, and acts like she's totally above the og. Yeah sure modern woman with modern knowledge and knowledge about future is gonna end up in a better situation than a orphan of lower standing that has nothing good going in her life. I mean the og's total obsession of ml is kinda understandable considering he was her only silver lining. I just hate how this story downplays so many social issues, just like you've already mentioned.
It just lacks gender perspective and logic. So it's and uncomfortable and dumb read. Just grab another story!
The protagonist treats well every man who abused her (in one way or another, but it goes so far as puting her in a cage) and it's not part of a plan or part of her character development.
The male protagonist knows of her dead family situation and how his actions impact her life at home (he seven says so outloud) but doesn't care, and she still has a good (even kind of romantic) feeling for him.
She's good with household affairs! That's her thing, wow! Disgusting. Couldn't even focus on how she worked in company before at least? Or tell us about her social relationships? What does she do in her free time?
The difference with other similar stories is that. Otherwise it would have been another normal story from the genre. This one just makes you rise an eyebrow and think about who wrote this. A few examples:
